Overview

The NRT Ethernet range loggers/RTUs are small self-contained dataloggers which connect to sensors in the field, collect readings from those sensors, and transmit the collected data to a central server via a standard Ethernet port.

The data service is provided on a hosted data basis on the secure Neon central server system or alternatively on a client system basis with the Neon software loaded onto the clients own server providing a central computer system to monitor and receive data from many units in the field.

The Neon Ethernet logger is designed to automate collection of remote data from environmental monitoring, industrial measurements, and utility metering via the Internet.

A USB host port can be added for connecting additional optional accessories.

Fully bi-directional communications are possible via the Neon server. Data can be collected directly and the NRT can be programmed from any internet connection.

The Ethernet Ethernet logger supports integrated logging or automated collection of data from an external datalogger as well as TCP/IP packet data. Long battery life and low operating costs are made possible through use of advanced microcontroller technology.

Inputs include analog, digital and SDI 12 datalogger interface standard. There is also Modbus support on an RS485 connection.

The 2020E model also comes with an internal 3G modem that supports GSM/GPRS 850/900/1800/1900MHz and 3G/HSDPA 850/900/1900/2100MHz bands.
